China "produced" over 200.000 university graduated technical engineers every year, EU in whole barely 20.000. Outcome of this game are predictable without magic ball.

In europe or USA nobody work for 18 hours (yes, guys) a day, everyday for some dollars/day.

That's the point.

If we talk about quality, ok, machinery and quality rules have costs and cannot be compressed much in China respect other places, but what about workers ?

You pay 10 chinese workers with what you spend for 1 in western country, and even more.

In quality productions you need not just low level workers but technicians and skilled people, but chinese are not stupid, chinese learn fast if properly trained.

So you get the picture: even quality stuff production cost is fairly less in China than other places.

But then why that stuff cost like in western countries ? Simple: china government don't wanna scary too much western countries, make agreements with them and some productions are just for elite buyers , few in economic weight.

They produce at lower prices in China, even quality stuff, then sell at western prices cause don't wanna western countries do some protection against quality stuff made in China imported there.

Sum to that western manifacturers of hi-quality stuff often produce parts in China, for reasons, mentioned, and then just assembly things in-house in the USA or Europe.

It's a game, all plays for now and all win for now, but future scare western governments.

Cause when China will be recognized as producer of quality and technology there will be few to do for western located companies to survive such competition.

In "Global village" situation it is not important who,where,how..etc..etc..
As long as ordinary people can live descent.
I don't mind who is gonna be my "chief" as long as i have descent life for me and my family.
If they become most educated nation in world - than i agree they to lead world economy! Why not? Better life for ordinary people if leaders are well educated. Socialism? Yes! But i want real real Socialism! Not funny stories...
If they make best electronics in the world than other can follow them. Why not? Capitalism must die, sooner or later because it is not good for ordinary small man. I vote for that!
I am sick of watching extra rich perverse cretins on one side and hungry dying majority on the other side.
If Chinese miracle will provide us social equality than i vote YES!

Socialism ?

Uhm... I heard of it... sometimes, somewhere, not that I remember everything, but seems real socialism failed somewhere at practice.

The ex-soviet union is the example, around 80's the crisis in economy was already impossible to fight using plans and similar centralized stuff.

The fact is, around late 80's mr. Gorbaciov found a real disaster was ready to crack the eastern block.

When he went to DDR in 1989 was already clear there was no future for soviet and its satellites in the east europe.

That's interesting difference respect to China, that instead was administered by the communist party much better and with the idea of developing a chinese way to capitalism.

The prestroika formula failed at many points and endly the system collapsed cause of inefficiency , contrary to what happened in China.

But consider that ex-soviet union was strongly industrial based country, were china in 1989 was middle-aged country, farms and rural areas were not modernized at all.

The chinese leadership was much stronger and long-viewing than mr. Gorbaciov at that time.

This is also a strict consequence of the USA activities to fight russian communism much more than chinese one... for obvious strategic reasons of that time.

I remember mr. Reagan speak about them in that years, and russians and eastern europeans understud very well the change and well before it happened in the late 1989 with the fall of the Wall. ;)

The stuff you see today, the extra rich people are in Moscow (about 350,000 as far I remember) but also in China today.

The capitalism is dead ? I don't think so.

But I think it's contagious... like influenza virus, or more! :D

Will end ? Who knows !?

For now I see anyone want his piece of it, and kinda of American dream, or call know Chinese-dream maybe.

People today don't look for ideals and ideological divisions but mostly about shares and bank accounts... and mr. Lenin and mr. Marx probably failed at one basic idea:

human beings are basically greed!

Now seems a political forum!

Kind regards,
Max

That's why i said "...real real Socialism.....not funny stories.."!
Previous attempts to Socialism were funny stories in most of cases.
Real Socialism is situation and condition which you want for you and your family and at the same time to all other people around you. Warm homes, enough food, human and descent job, proper education and same chances for everybody.
Speaking of Socialism....China was closest to real Socialism, and still is.
Working people in China are not stupid and simpleminded. They are hard labors because they have long term plans. Some of those plans are fulfilling right now.
