Talking H3 Tec's Terms of Use - Good Grief!

Got a few extra minuets? Need a "chuckle" or laugh to brighten up a drab day?

Check out the Terms of Use page on the all new and improved H3 Tec website.

Be careful not to spew your beverage on the monitor!

Guess we know where he ripped them off from. The idiot didn't even have the common sense to replace Hewlett Packard's name from the legal boiler plate. What a twerp.

Is this it?

http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/termsofuse.html

I'm not gonna wade through all that crap and get my shoes dirty. Besides, it's generally unenforceable, kinda like that silly email notice he tacks on.

Hmmm....
I would expect to find this notice on a Rangertell calculator page, not a treasure tri-corder page.
I was expecting to read something more like this from the new and improved H3Tec website:
Quote:
H3Tec... THE FINAL FRONTIER. THESE ARE THE ADVENTURES OF THE H3-TEC TREASURE TRI-CORDER. OUR CONTINUING MISSION: TO EXPLORE STRANGE NEW HUNGSCIENCE. TO SEEK OUT NEW TREASURES FROM THE SAME OLD MANURE HEAPS. TO BOLDLY GO WHERE NO ONE HAS WANTED TO GO BEFORE..! (Star Trek music fading in from the background)...
But Noooooooo...
We get a warning from HP.

Does this mean there will be no Klingon battle cruisers coming after us?
Will HP be sending Chuckie-grams from Texas now?

Best wishes,
J_P

And you still kept the split infinitive.

Whether it makes any sense to you or not is insignificant.

But it does make a lot of sense to the ones involved.

Of course it does!

The ones involved?
Does this mean the rumors are true that webmaster hung was paid to design the H3Tec new and improved website?
Or did Dr. hung design it for free?
Or does Dr. hung claim to be not involved in this remarkable new and improved website design?

Best wishes,
J_P

If true, then he needs to cover up his sources more carefully.
Not removing HP's name from the Ts & Cs is very shoddy work.

Default :::chortles:::

I am pleased to see everyone is enjoying this latest H3 Tec disaster.

Chuckles claimed to spent big bucks on the website. I don't see it, myself.

It's quite possible that Chuckie wrote the HP Terms of Use when he was their VP of Technology. Of course, that was during the same time he was an undercover CIA op flying Blackhawks in South America.

Did Cowgirl confirm that Chuckie was a VP of Technology at HP?

He had the most important invention since the transistor, and burned HP by running off to the Great Basin with it and ....... look what he did with it....... a pig-with-lipstick dowsing rod...... ???

If what he says about the importance of the technology is true, then what he's done with it proves what everyone already knew in the first place-- WHAT A BUFFOON!

The funny thing with guys like Chuckie is that if you attribute to them that half of what they say is true, it comes out worse than if the entire thing were lies.

--Dave J.

PS to buffoons: This is humor, I don't actually believe that Chuckie has anything to do with HP other than, well, what we already saw with our own eyes.

It appears to be clean. However, it is still a mess.

Chuckle's latest Facebook drivel:

After 10 years of nothing but sweat, persistence, and hard work, test after test the game changed! We have become an overnight success. We are so grateful for our friends, our associates and everyone that has helped H3 grow up. We will continue to support our current clients always. You all helped us.
