Default secrecy versus success

Very quiet here in the last time concerning PDK and other LRLs...

Come on guys, this is boring!

Has the LRL-guru communication fully moved to the hidden forums?

Well, thats the drawback now -
without good publicity you can't have good promotion for
your products, you will not get any recognition and respect
for your efforts, "inventions" or special discoveries.

Its like a stupid idea that better fast vanishes into thin air
before someone makes a whole ridiculousness out of itself.

After the trust-destroying activities of Mineoro with their
mini-senders all those LRL-tinkerers will have a much more
hard time to convince other people for their "developments".

We will see how good your secrecy will do the job in this area...

We are tired from using all those LRL: first we need to run to at least 3km distance, then we need to dig at least 5m deep hole (for nothing). It is hard to be inventive and productive after that.

Is that your version of TOTeM in your avatar?
If so, do you have more photos?

Very interesting. Now I can see how you managed to reduce the size of the cabinet by placing the TX coil at the bottom.

The changes you've made in the construction, and the the lower TX frequency, may be contributing to the silver-only detection. Also, I note that your detection distance is quite low compared to the original prototype, and the detection region is close to the ferrite receiver coil. With the original TOTeM, the most sensitive detection point is somewhere between the TX and RX, and only iron is rejected.

In the other thread, Goldmaxx and I were discussing how the power supply voltage affects the coil balance, and we concluded that it might be an advantage to add a voltage regulator.
