Default Mineoro Field Performance Survey

There is some debate in recent forum posts about how the Mineoro long range locators don't work in different locations around the world. Some people say the Mineoro locators do not work well when they are used in locations away from the factory, while others say they work the same everywhere. We thought we knew the answers until hung posted a video that showed the Mineoro FG90 making beeps that pinpointed a target within 5 feet without random beeping. This is a bit different than most of the reports of Mineoro performance. We see some of the Mineoro users making posts where they are trying to find the reason why hung's video shows different performance than they observed with their Mineoro LRLs at different locations than hung used. Hung then made a post where he says this:

Just because some of the users here still have not found or dug a target identified by the device does not mean whatsoever that the detector is faulty or do not work well over there. It might mean a lot of things such as: there is no treasure where previously thought, target is too small to be precisely detected, which leads to bad ionic conditions at the location due improper time of day, weather, humidity, improper calibration, etc. and etc. and etc.
All and all it deserves further investigation. Again bear in mind that Mineoro's site features recoveries from a lot of people from different countries and regions. Just luck? I don't think so.
So who is right?
How can we know if the performance of Mineoro long range locators diminishes in locations away from the Mineoro factory?
How can we know what kind of performance to expect from a Mineoro locator in different parts of the world?

There is a way to know what to expect from Mineoro locators...
The time has come to gather some field reports for Mineoro long range locators.
Field reports will tell what detection is observed all over the world.
We can take a survey to see what kind of performance people actually saw from the Mineoro locators when they were used at different locations. Maybe this will reveal some clues to help us know if the location where you use the Mineoro locators is important.

Let's start a survey to see what real detection was actually observed when using Mineoro locators in different locations.
If you have actually observed the performance of any Mineoro model when searching for treasure, please make a post to tell us what you observed. Be sure to indicate which Mineoro LRL model you observed, and the approximte location on the earth you made this observation. (you may tell the location of a nearby city or other landmark if you do not want to reveal the exact location where you made the observation. We only want to know the approximate location where the observation was made). If you have a Mineoro clone or modified Mineoro LRL, you can report you observations here too. But be sure to describe what model and what modifications you made in your report.

We would like to hear if you got strong signals or weak?
What was the maximum range you saw?
Did your Mineoro LRL make random beeps, or were they good for pinpointing a 6-foot circle like hung's video shows?

You may include your experience level with LRLs and Mineoro if you want, and any other comments that you think help explain why you found different performance than other users of Mineoro locators.

This survey is not for people who have never observed a Mineoro LRL live in front of them searching for treasure. It is only to find out what kind of performance people actually observed from a Mineoro LRL hunting for treasure. This means we like to see your post here of what you observed only if you were using the Mineoro LRL or you were walking with someone else while they were using the Mineoro locator and you watched what happened. If you only read a report about how Mineoro works or a friend told a story about how it worked for him, then please don't post these stories here unless you actually watched the Mineoro results in the field.

If we get enough actual field reports, then we will have some data from different locations of the world which may help solve the questions of variations in Mineoro performance which users have reported.

Here are some examples of actual Mineoro field reports we read in the forum:
Dell Winders reported his test performance from a Mineoro GDP 428 locator. He said it worked, but not as advertised in Florida, USA here: http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showp...&postcount=116
Dell also reported he witnessed a 3-hour field trial in Florida, USA where an FG80 worked. He reported it was easier to tune than the previous model here: http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showp...&postcount=125
Dell reports false beeping from Mineoro FG80, and inconsistent results with the Mineoro depth probe in Florida, USA. He reported his opinion was the Mineoro does work, but not as advertised here: http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showp...3&postcount=51
Michael reported his 2-day test of the FG80 in the Middle East where he observed random beeping most of the time. He said it detected the gold plate at a maximum of 40-50 Cm at 30-35% humidity here: http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showp...7&postcount=78
Michael reported no detection of known hot areas using FG80 for more than a year here: http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showp...8&postcount=90
Michael reported he found nothing on a treasure hunt where other LRLs and rods were finding treasure here: http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showp...2&postcount=19
Esteban reported detecting a coin at 80 meters using a PDC 205 in South America, but gave no report on stability herunt=52http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showpost.php?p=39097&postcount=25
Carl-NC reports he tested a PDC205 and it could not find gold in North Carolina, USA here: http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showp...6&postcount=27
Carl-NC reports he tested the FG80 and could not detect the gold plate or his 10 oz. gold bar in North Carolina, USA here:
Carl-NC Made a whole thread for testing his FG80, and said he observed it making random beeps, but did not detect gold. He said it was able to detect his metal detector search coil up to 12 feet here: http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12912
neronc reports no detection with the FG80 in Belgium here: http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showp...8&postcount=52
Andreas reports no detection with his Mineoro PDC here: http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showp...4&postcount=89

There are many other field reports made by people with Mineoro locators in their hands. But these are past reports. We need some fresh reports to update our information to tell exactly what field experiences were observed in different locations for Mineoro locators. If you have a Mineoro Locator, please make a post to tell what your experiences were with details as I explained above. Then we can see how the Mineoro performance was observed in different parts of the world.

Best wishes,
J_P

Let's start the survey of field reports here. Please post your observations of your Mineoro long range locator below.
If you have actually observed the performance of any Mineoro model when searching for treasure, please make a post to tell us what you observed. Be sure to indicate which Mineoro LRL model you observed, and the approximte location on the earth you made this observation. (you may tell the location of a nearby city or other landmark if you do not want to reveal the exact location where you made the observation of Mineoro performance.

Please include your experience level with LRLs and Mineoro if you want, and any other comments that you think help explain the performance you observed from your Mineoro locators.

Remember, don't post here if you have not observed the performance of a Mineoro locator. This is only to survey what people observed, not for arguing about LRL tuning and principles.

Best wishes,
J_P

Thank you Andreas,
When you post, please post a summary of the performance in the beginning, so people can read what results you observed, then opinions and analysis after so people can read the details after they know your answer.

Best wishes,
J_P
