Hi Mike, I hope you are doing well my friend.
Anderson rods are the best rods for me. They are very well constructed, very semsitive linear operation and the best of all is that they are very well finished.
They are so well nickel plated that they don't wear at all. There is copper underneath the nickel and they work smoothly.
If you are a bit carefull while you use them they will last for ever.
People say that it is the crystals and some other substances that they have inside which make the difference while dowsing with them
Well, I am not in that. They must be or probably exist elements you can use to staff your rod that will make a difference but if you are a good dowser for me it don't really matter at all
Myself I use even a small thin straight branch of a tree to dowse and I can say I have the same results. When I say the same results it may not be 100% but I don't consider it as a difference and this is why I got used to dowse with anything by now.
I love to have different instruments for my hobby and here I am looking for this kind of rod.
The ones you mentioned in your post are really heavy and big considered to Anderson and they are not having this kind of smoothness when you hold them neither when you use them. The gold plated surface wears in a very short time and the money are very big for what you buy.
I like having my tools in good condition and the Anderson or Siimmons rods are the best in my opinion for what you pay
Sooner or later I believe I will find one and please let me know if you see a secondhand one for sale
Wishing you health and luck in your dowsing!
George

Yeah, never used any of these rods. Saw one of the Anderson rods and it looked heavy. I admit those Apollo/Nemesis rods look heavier, but pretty sure they are well made, but the gold plate will wear out at some point. About half the price of Simmons. I'm like you, just build something for much less.
