I've seen that on YouTube, I didn't make it, I don't know if works. Try and tell us your opinion.

Hi
I have built Morgan's IR circuit with the beeper/led at the output. I have built Morgan's IR circuit with a needle indicator at the output. I have built a modulated input IR receiver by the use of a transmitter IR led and a very selective high Q LC at the front end. I have built a differential receiver which eliminates all the problems of the previous devices when you change angle of scanning. Net conclusion: When it comes to metal detection, it is one of the worst methods i have ever experimented with. I wish i could take back my time money and efforts. |

Hi Jeg.
Not so bad.... and not so simple U may have excelent results after special conditions. Who are the conditions.... here is the secret. Regards

Hi Geo
These special conditions are killing me brother But i still have the machines perhaps i ll give some more time on testing |

This method is completely scientific and you can draw conclusions from this method. But the operator experiences many errors in exploration and must recognize them in order to reach the real goal. |

Thank you brother i wonder about if i have used the right IR Rx receiver leds. I used the classic IR commercial leds. Do you think that they need replacement with more dedicated ones?? |

Turn your back to the sun. It works better on smooth and flat land. You will have sense of error in the places where it is low and high. It should also be in places with vegetation. Not applicable for long distances. And... |

I personally iron and bronze. I have friends who have found gold in other metals as well.

Thank you for sharing kaveh! Sun at the back. Copied About vegetation, i remember that when threshold was at low levels it was giving me signals from the green fresh leaves. |

hello kaveh I was using bpw 41 n before and it did not give the exact location. But it received the full signal from 10 meters. Which RX do you use? |

What circuit you use? Can you post it?

Hi Have you placed your Rx led in a small tube for increasing directivity? |

No. I didn't do that. can you tell me how to do it? or illustrated explanation.

I have personally cut a piece of a plastic tube taken from a pen! Led can be fit inside there beautifully. Use a piece of about 2 cm and paint it black. I have opened a hole at the front side of the box and i glued this plastic tube at the internal space of the box. This is for to protect the tube from knocking when you use it. Fix the IR led at the bottom of the tube, and now the light needs to go in a straight line for to reach the sensor. |

Yes. It's very logical. There is no space on my old device. I should make a new one.
The old one found the piece shown in the picture last. It makes more sense to make a new one. thanks |

It's not a very special circuit, it's simple 555 and IR RX.
Precision belongs to your mastery skill. The secret is not in these circuits. It can detect any circuit no matter underground. |
