Hi Geo

Tell me winding directions of all 3 coplanar coils and inductance values. I suppose you have tunned resonance at 7.5KHz right with bunch of capacitors bellow ??
What about the coil phase adjustments ? Do you have nulling exactly to zero volts (null) or you have tuned at some very small DC-offset equal to input offset of your OP input stage (to compensate differential inbalance) ?

Also several questions about your ferrite "Stimulus" coil. Is there only one winding or several windings over ferrite core. Also i need to know inductance and right distance from center of coplanar coil. I suppose ferrite core pointing exactly to center of 3 coplanar coils or maybe you have some XY offset positions. Ferrite core for sure influent phase shift of your coplanar coils. Does ferrite stimuls coil(s) work at 7.5KHz or at some sub-harmonic of 7.5 KHz frequency ??

PS: I have asked all of these becuase i try to understand all variable which influent Directional pattern of this complex conical system of multiple coils (coplanar plus ferrite stimulus).

Does strong electric field make some erratic behavour of your detector or not ??

If this detector work as detector of pure Scalar waves (underground target siganl) you could make some distance test from 0 meters (right at front of coplanar coils up to 300-400 meter using stong referent scalar signal from Siberian Colia magnet configuartion.
If you are interesing and wish make some experiments, i can tell you how to make one.

if you get positive results we ( you and me) can try make quadrapole configuration of coils and also try to make new cylindrical capacitor antenna as front preamplifier of your detector (in principle any LRL scalar detector).

PS: But I suppose that at your place is too much raining , and you aslo have a lot of farm homeworks - have not time for laboratory experiments.

PS1: Matrix of IR, LASER or high bright LED diodes also can rise background Magnetic vector potential A→, improving signal detection distance from underground gold treasury.
Look at this like Low NF charging pump source. This work even if you block all optical emmisions from diode matrix because interior scalar emission (at semiconductor levels) can not be easy shieled (but is also possible). By the way scalar signal from gold drop at 1/r law multiple some constant which depend of soil mixture).

thatis all for now. Waiting to stop raining !! (so much raining forests in Greece )

Best regards to you and "raining" Greece !!

Hahaha.... maybe at Russia you have solve all your problems (i wish), but here at Greece we must work hard to live , so first is the hard work and if there is free time we can go for hobby. For the time no rain but hard work

Some days i am busy, other days is raining....

Finally yesterday i found time to test it. At test field there are some copper coins dotted at a place 1x1 m and depth near to 30cm. Franco's version locates them from 2..3 m distance very clear. Problem is that i have reverse audio so must adjust it to beep and when is at line with objects it stops to beep. I must revrse the audio again. Better direction is from north to south.

Hi Geo,
I'm glad you've finally been able to get my LRL, I began to think that does not work in Greece ... What version did you use for testing?
Regards

Hi Franco, it is the Xtal version.
Also a friend from Greece (and member here) has good results with your lrl.
I saw that when the antenna is slightly tilted towards the ground I have better results. Does this applies to you too??

Regards

Hi Geo,
During the search the antenna is parallel to ground, when I approach the target I tilt the antenna towards the ground for a sort of pinpoint.
Best Regards

Hello Dear FrancoItaly

Yes, your LRL detectors both version Quartz and PLL4046 work and work good. I want to publically admit this fact.

Best regards

Next week if will have free time will go to another field test with buried silver coins.
Of course will inform forum.

Enjoykin4...... if will rain ....

Today i made more tests.
1. at old test field with copper coins. Xtal version caught the coins from 2..3m. Also with full sensitivity it was sensitive to magnetic horizons.
PLL version had not success nor coins nor at horizons, i don't know why.

2. I went to another field test with silver coins buried for 2+ years at 35... 50 cm depth.
Xtal version caught easy the North horizon but not the coins.
Pll version again did not catch anything, although when i touch the antenna it beeps.

I will try again after some days....

It was time for a new lrl.
So this year i begun to construct something better . It will be a Tesla lrl.

For the time a photo only!!!!

Thanks.
You must remember that a good lrl begins from a good box!!!

Looks nice. I don't know anything about conical coils but it seems if the voltage enters from the wide end the wave will have a "phased array" effect. Maybe pulse length could be timed via wire length.

With conical coils we have better directionality. With this object i try to make a clone of Tesla lrl designed by Alonso. Conical coil would supplied with 1000V tention. Also i plan to use a laser so to create a path with plasma.....

Dear Geo,
are you thinking of making a clone of this Alonso Tesla LRL?

Hi.
Yes... but not 100%. I think to make some mods and to play with the creation of "plasma" using laser. Years ago i constructed something similar but without the hight voltage.

There is n't Tx stage.
Tesla coil is supplied with 1000 V dc.

Tesla coil must end in a sharp point.
For this i took a male terminal and made it a litle sharp with the lathe.
Inside the terminal we can put any metal for sample(if we like it)???
