Hi Okantex and Reza look here my test for my PDK
but I use here ferrite coil is same the O coil and work good near TV

But not detect fresh metal

Default my pdk

Hello forum members, I built a pdk based on Alonso circuit. It is now operational but I think need some fine tuning because it detects long time buried metals including rusted iron, until now Im not sure how to narrow the detection for gold. 1.5 battery spark is at 1 meter.

Regards...

Hi Dear my congratulation nice work and good distance for spark 1 meter is so better

How frequency and how specification for your coil? diameter wire and milliHenry
and what Capacitor you use? in parallel of coil I mean.

Default my pdk

Hi Nicolas, here is another picture of my pdk. The coil is 80mm diameter, with 90 turns, # 28 AWG wire diameter. I don't know its inductance because I have no inductance meter, I only made estimate on some calculations, maybe 820 to 980 milihenry. I put 1n capacitor parallel to the coil because this value make the pdk sensitive. My observation is that this pdk performs better with higher inductance of coil.
Can you give me frequency for gold on my country? Philippines.

Regards...

Hi Aulook
Woow my Dear friend nice work for your two PDK
Yes I see you have put capacitor 1nF and if we consider this Value

we have only 5Kz

But we need minimal to detect noble metal buried between 55 Khz to 115 Khz

I think for your country is 78.9 but I m not sure only by Calculation
You can try Other frequency

This is my PDK

I have test the spark is only for few cm 22 to 25

And I have test near TV is few distance 1 to 1.5 m

I think your Device is so more better or you have low frequency

Here in my country I work with 58 to 66 Khz

He probably meant 820uH (not 820mH, which is a huge inductance).

Hi Qiaozhi thx to explain and comment here. Yes you are right 820 mH is big inductance

Then he work with 178 Khz if is 0.82mH

Thanks Quashi for the correction. It's between 820 to 980 microhenry not milihenry.

Hi my friend

Try with capacitor 4n7 >>>> Frequency is near 81 Khz
and with 4nf+1n in serial = 5n7 >>>> Frequency is near 74Khz

Or make one selector of commutation between the two capacitor

and make me please little video for the spark.
and how distance near TV
and if your PDK detect fresh Metal Gold / Silver if yes how distance for that

this is interested to know good how work all PDK

Yes nicolas, i will make a video for the spark test soon. The pdk does not respond to fresh gold or silver only long time buried metals, but maybe with some modification detection for fresh metal is possible. Btw, thanks for the frequency and capacitance information.

Thanks

and Sorry for this error

It's in parallel because in serial the value isn't 5n7

I m so sorry for this wrong

Are you running this with just one 9 volt battery or it runs with two 9 volts battery?

What schematic did you use?

Hi Nelson How are you and your Health?

You can run it with One battery or Two battery or Three battery 9V because the voltage for Transistor is over 40V

But be attention for The IC 555NE (read datasheet for her Voltage max)

For the schema I don't know what our friend Use but he said is the part of Alonso

I m fine my friend and thanks for answering my message.
Yes Aulook said that and for me is important to know about his detection of iron, because if he got that signal, means that pdk is working and just need to get on the correct frequency to detect gold or silver.
I whrote Aulook an email, but no answer jet.
I will try to contact you by skype
Best regards
Nelson

Ultimate add and Update for KING LRL A41

Add option to not buried metal
And discrimination like Pinpoint after excavate to find coins or objects in the earth in the hollow of a hole

The KING LRL A41 is a multifunctional detector

Default Advice and tips Of detection

Hi my friends

I bring you good news here on my long experience of research for the detection of metal

For interested manufacturing PD's or the PDK's or the LRL's

Frequencies research for metals in air is between 7 kHz and 12 kHz
Frequencies research for buried metals is between 48kHz and 115 kHz

Other advice and tip. Use normal coils or spiral without core or ferrite, because with ferrite; the magnetic fields are not wide so no good result with the distance of detection and sensitivity.

Hi Nicolas

Well this is one of the points i working on. For me pdk frequency is not around 62 Khz, is lower than that.
I have a friend from Brazil who build PDk and he made a coil of 4 mH not uH. So this means that this coil is working much low in frequency than 62 Khz. The point is that this friend detected a target with moneoro fg 90 and pdk at same distance. I saw the video and also i can said that this guy is not a member of this forum.

Regards
Nelson
