I will make all the tests in my field, with the buried gold medal, then i post the results.
I need to try many diferent coils, and ferrites, and hope one of this can catch the gold medal.
If this happens its very good, becouse this is the Passive Receiver with tuning and fine tuning, and it works automatic very stable,no need adjustments in knob, its the LRL, turn on and go.We can call, Pistoldetector Automatic.

Default LRL Video

Here is the video from Morgan. It was recorded with a camera that does not have sound, but you can see the LED working.

Let's get this straight ... I have no problem with anyone investigating, researching or developing LRLs. Especially if they are prepared to discuss technical details and publish any results (good or bad) on the Geotech forum. This is why I am prepared to help Morgan, or anyone else for that matter, to carry out their experiments and show their results. What I do have a problem with are people posting blatantly faked videos (and you all know who I'm talking about) and promoting devices that are dowsing rods "enhanced" with do-nothing electronics. These devices cannot possibly be used for finding treasure at any distance (near or far) as they operate using the ideomotor effect, and rely on self-delusion and selective memory.

Personally, I think Morgan's LRL is able to distinguish between ferrous and non-ferrous targets because the RX circuit is sensitive to inductance changes produced by placing these items close to the coil. I have asked Morgan to try the same experiment using a copper coin and a soft drinks can. I expect these will also be detected.

By the way, if you save the image in post #23 and zoom in at the bottom, you will notice that this circuit has some connection with Andreas.

dear morgan, in video, these be only an standar mineral iron discriminator pinpointer i not think these put discriminating on big iron masses and only silver and gold whit no long detection, these no be an lrl, but short range md, write me pm and i can say how you should obtain major results

Hi

This circuit,is the Alonso´s Passive Receiver + two Pot. Tune and Fine Tune + the Alonso´s beeper circuit. This schematic you can find in Esteban´s thread (closed forum). So we have here only the PD working with Passive RX,and Ferrite give this results, but i tried also many coils and cant detect the precious metals.
I try diferent metals and alloys, this ferrite only catch gold and silver, but only two wires are connected to the circuit, yellow+green. For example if i connect orange+green or yellow+orange, not get this results.
Anyway this is only one test,i hope to be sucessful in my field test.

Note:this ferrite is similar to the Alonso´s PD,so everyone can build the circuit and try.

Regards

Sorry,i mean the people who belong to the closed forum,RS project.

If this New LRL works in my field test,it will be great, becouse its very stable,no need Pot. adjustments after calibration,as good stability.

Morgan and Esteban,
Would you provide schematic of this PD and the modifications. Looks simple enough even i could give it a try.

What is the basis for these devices?
Output frequency is it?
Coil how it should be built?
Thanks and regards

why hide the device?, either it works or it doesn't, the cat is out of the bag trying to hide it now just looks suspicious.
either a, you all know it wont work and want to hide it so you dont look foolish.
or b, it works and you are worried about copyists.
since users here claim they are not in it to make money, and its all about research, why worry about either?
the best way to combat copycats is to publish, then they can build one, but not build them and sell them, as its an open source project and it is instantly devalued.
because if you really think it has commercial potential, why mention it here in the first place, dangling the carrot only to hide it again, makes you look dodgy, and plays right into the hands of the skeptics.
