Hi Esteban,
Very interesting detector pistol.
According to the information about lobster eye x-ray detectors, the x-rays are difficult to focus through a regular lens, but are easy to reflect. This is why the reflective type lens of the lobster eye is used. The sensor lens has many small square reflectors that focus the x-rays on a sphere behind. And this lens is omni-directional with a very wide angle view. Lobsters and shrimp use this kind of reflective lens to see light, while crabs use the regular refractive lens to see light. But for x-rays, only the lobster eye will work. http://spie.org/x14632.xml

If this pistol detector is properly tuned, maybe it will find gold and paper money too -- fresh or long time buried.

Best wishes,
J_P

Hi,
I have heard that it doesn´t work very well with long time buried paper money if soil is not dry

Seems an Austin Powers' design ... but sure it works ... I mean with walls and other stuff... not on wet soil with buried paper inside!

People usually have negative attitude upon me. Also usually asking reasons of my scepticism. Answer is simple: i live in a world where "imposible" things do happening. World of frauds!
Here we deal with pseudo science, bogus devices and simillar. Not a big harm done if somebody waste money on some bogus device.But...
Accepting this we are training to accept much more dangerous things also!
I do suggest you...no,no...i do beg you to have patience and watch fully this video:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...47760266&hl=en

What this got to do with metal detecting? Very few things, i admit. But it has a lot of to explain about human mind and inert will to accept everything on first glance!
Please be patient and watch this. Also do spread this link among your friends and relatives.
Best regards!
