so... a T-R design with two coils 90° apart in a sphere configuration ?

uhm... can't work as LRL or anything detecting a copper coin from 50 meters away... BS

Usually the coilreels stimulators placed in such order. But do not know the specific lrl.

This is very old technology.... that was secret 60 years ago.
This design appears to be a directional locator antenna...
And the two loops are combined with a vertical aerial antenna in the center... very mysterious...
Maybe scientists in the military have much more advanced designs which they use to hunt for treasure from their frigates today...

Best wishes,
J_P

Regards.
The circuit board you show is not from Mineoro.
It is a metal detector used as a pinpointer for finding a piece of metal from a few inches.
See here: http://www.schema-electronique.com/2...ux-simple.html

This circuit is not related to the orthogonal coils you showed at the top of this thread

Best wishes,
J_P

Hi J_P, you evidently do not need LRL to find deep in web buried circuits. Well done.

Hi J_P.
Before many years a guy from Germany sent this pcb to me as an old Mineoro model(i have yet his email).
From what i see by you, its a pinpointer.
Thanks for info.

Regards

BTW... do you have schematic of discovery TF900??

Hi Geo,
No, This is the LRL forum where we discuss LRLs, not real metal detectors like the discovery TF900 or the pinpointer that humhum wants to know where came from.
You need to ask for that circuit at the Geotech forums from somebody who has opened a discovery TF900 and drawn the schematic.

Best wishes,
J_P

I believe that you have more schematics than all the geotech forum

Hi Geo, do you need TF900 schematic for you new PD?

I think it is only derivative of Whites TM808:

Hi WM6.
TM808 is a different schematic, it is the one chanel from 5900. TM800 (where i have a problem with oscillator) it is the same with discovery TF900 and was manufactured by Discovery, not Whites.

Regards

boys: earliers, two antens tf600 discovery, tf900 discovery, tm800 whites´s may be also white tbox tm818, easy fried the receptor oscilations circuit, due when you put the power whit alkaline duracell, energeizer batteries, due to little power circuit configurattions what these md need for work, duracell and other alkalines have very hig milliamperage spectro initial discharge´´
