You need to do your research more thoroughly. Then you would know that TOTeM does not contain any circuitry even remotely similar to a Heathkit detector.

would say: "Go and buy your own copy of ITMD Edition 1"; but we are completely sold out. In which case you'll either need to find a secondhand copy, or see if White's Electronics have any left.
At the moment you're only speculating about a design that you have not seen, let alone built and tested.
As you know, I'm a skeptic about LRLs, and especially concerning dowsing and any gadget that has a swinging handle. However, TOTeM is an interesting device that is fun to build and test. Your challenge is to figure out how it "works".
