Hand-held version of the Super Star QL (Quantum leap)

I don't know how well this will work, but I got a hand-held version ready for testing. I've used all sorts of rods and equipment. What I use now is a solid handle. The hand-held version of the SSQL is a swivel handle so I might decide to disable the swivel mechanism to convert it to a solid handle. I just got this idea so i haven't done any outdoor testing. Of course the price skyrockets but still cheaper than anything on this forum. More later.

Now i remember why I don't use the swivel handle rod with control box. It makes the cold and wind feel much worse. This is a fair-weather device if it's going to work at all--not good. Hopefully get some nicer weather soon.

My hand-held version has been tossed on the shelf. I have a whole list of choice adjectives and like George Carlin, I can't say them on TV. To all those with the control box on a swivel handle, all I can say is I feel sorry for you and I hope you see the light one day. End of story.
