Default Going to Arizona

My wife and I are going to be making a 10 day trip out to Arizona to try our hands at nugget hunting in the desert. Since we are driving from Texas we really are not tied down to any particular spot. Anyone have any information regarding desert nugget hunting or decent clubs around the state. This is my first time nugget hunting using MDs so it should be a learniing experience. Thanks all!

Will

Default Novice Nugget Hunting

Will, I for one would be most interested to hear all about your trip once you return. I too, as a complete novice to nugget hunting, plan to take a trip (probably to Nevada) in the near future to try my hand at it.

It would be great to hear your experiences, what kind of detectors you tried, and had the most success with, and anything else that you feel would be helpful to other newbies.

Thanks, and have a great trip...

Thank you carl for the info. I will report back on my experience for sure. I plan on taking a Hammerhead that I have been tweeking over the past year along with a GoldBug 2, perhaps a sd2200d if my buddy lets me borrow his.
