Default ion detecter

After months of experamenting with my home built ion detecter here are the results,it will pick up power lines if directly under them,i have only had one true signal and i only picted it up one time and i went back to the place many times later and never got the signal again, went to many old homesites and old military camps old school sites never got a signal. My brother has two silver dollers buried together, been buried for three years,no signal on them.I realy truley think that if there is going to be a machine to pick up treasure at a distance it is going to have to transmit a signal and then pick up the return on some type of electronic receiver, that way you are only picking up the signal of the treasure. The transmit receive devices like in the pictures on this forum from the 1980's is what we need to be experimenting with,if i new the frequncy of transmit and receive i would build one and test it on my brothers buried silver.
