Right now there is a great thread started by JudyH and the discussion goin' on over TNET about the 'lovely' magician mr. randi (yes, lowecase) and his 'mythical' million dollar challenge.

I decided to post the link to disclose and debunk one great myth and fraud which skeptics seem to be ruled by and I hope this serves others who do not know what was and still is going on with 'randi'.

Tough I believe every rational human being knows that randi and his challenge has always been a HUGE BS, there are still the few poor souls who always thought thet 'million dollar challenge' was for real... Well...

This is an awesome thread. I actually know first hand how this JREF is a Scam! I know this is my first post but I AM a real treasure hunter of sorts and coincidentally I did apply for the JREF Million Dollar Challenge.

Randi was dating a teenager named Davy Pena. Pena moved in with Randi and he suddenly became Jose Alvarez and eventually they both set up the James Randi Education Foundation. Alvarez(An illegal alien and identification thief) was on the board of officers of the JREF from 1997 until 2009. During that time Pena and Randi took in Millions of dollars from unsuspecting skeptics. They share a nice mansion in Florida together.

The FBI arrested Jose Alvarez for fraud and identity theft. Randi put up over a Million in an agreement to release Alvarez to House Arrest on Davie Blvd...what a coincidence.

Meanwhile the current president of the JREF (D.J.Grothe)has the biggest fund raiser ever and is telling everyone that everything is fine and that this is just a personal matter.... RIGHT!!!!

James Randi is the Miss Cleo of the Skeptics!!!!!

He's bilked his own kind out of millions!
