Hi.
I want to find (if there is) the schematic of the IC--- k140ud13. Also i am interesting for an American similar ic. As you maybe have read at IGA-1 thread this IC is a MDM type ic.
Many workable lrls uses the MDM method to catch the phenomenon. So i want to "see" the shematic of this IC and maybe to design a known commercial lrl with this ic so to see if will have better results.

You can try with this possible west replacement (seem no really direct replacement):

uA727M then AD8628, AD8230, LTC1250, LTC2053, etc. (Look for datasheets on "description", in which words "included" should be something as "zero-drift").

I believe that uA727M etc are not compatible withUD13 because they have not input for demodulator etc....
All the other that you have post are fine

USE OP 277 or OP 377 from burrbrown insteaqd K140UD17 MODULATOR/DEMODULATOR !!

USE HIGHLY POLISHEY COPPER DISK FOR ANTENNA INPUT FRONTEND IGA-1 device.


PS: TRY ANY HIGHJ PRECISION LOW DRIF LOW OFFSET DIFFERENTIAL AMPLIFIER FOR 1 STAGE OF IGA-1 DEVICE. SEARCH ANALOG DEVICE SITE !! REGARDS !!

About UD7 what do you think for the LM741 at metal can???
Also do you know the project that adding to IGA-1 a narrowb software tunable filter as Vega??
Do you remember the distance between the 2 antenna disks???
Sorry for many questions but i collect info for next winter.....

Hi Geo !!

All Russian OPs are in metal case so use only metal case analog.
I dont know about narrow band filters schematic. Try first analog schematic without filters and than you can design own nb filter stage. Or use filters from some Tessoro metal detectors with some modifications. Distance about 10 cm. This should be estimated experimenatly according to your design for maximum sensitivity !!
