Ferrite Schematic v1.19
Below is a part of that PD circuit which is now open source - here:
http://www.servimg.com/image_preview...658&u=12209946 ( http://hobidetektori.own0.com/lrl-f6...-t637.htm#5531 ) It seems working without additional omega coil BFO but is it possibly simplify this stuff ??? Look at this circuit! There are for shure too many overfluous parts, making the whole thing only complicated, noisy and most worse: unsensitive! If it's not too much asked someone here can erradicate this stuff and post a "clean" version. And if ferrite l7 / l8 only have around 100 turns this is far too few for a real good antenna reception! If this schematic already is 2,5 years old perhaps there exists some update but this is not the problem - we have really to understand what and at what frequency gets received or even transmitted. There are 2 coils. So the question is: Does one coil transmits at a certain freq. (what I doubt) or does it only works as signal threshold finder i.e. does it detect if the incoming signal comes from a straight direction?? |

No answers - nice - I'll tell you what this circuit does:
It recognises the "antenna function" of the searched metal object. I found this out by thinking about the somekind special movements you have to do with the PD. The style how the ferrite-antennas are arranged within the PD are typcial for "minimum bearing". Forget about the unscientific "ghost stuff" on this page but read about the EMF-meters and how they work: http://www.ghostgadgets.com/_knowled...explained.html and here: http://www.ghostgadgets.com/_knowledge/emfmeters.html If you are really interrested and not just like making fun out of everything - like little kids do with sex - you will find out that there exists already very sophisticated EMF & magnetic field detection devices and that you have incalculate all 3 dimensions and the "antenna function" of your own body if you want to get real authentic test results! I hardly doubt they will detect ghost, poltergeists or demons but at least if they are sensitive and professional enough they will detect metal objects that disturb the sourrounding field. btw. for shure there exists some resonance-frequency for special materials or element! Microwave ovens work this way (resonating water molecules). And even the electrostriction is some sort of resonance. How good this works with detecting gold etc. is a different question. I have no time writing any more because finally after 1 week and alot hours of research and reading (not here...) I want to start with the ferrite antenna tests! The ferrite antenna receives the magnetical pulses or in our "passive pistol case" it detects the vanishing of the "magnetical noise" if a metal object is "near". Now the only question is if the "natural" VLF-noise is enuff or if I some kind of add. long wave transmitter is needed. First I have to find out which of my ferrite-staffs has the best permeability and if a shielding (perhaps some can) or reflector improves the directiveness (probable only some magnetical one). btw. it guess the ferrite-circuit is used for vague "middle to long range" detection and the bfo for pinpointing / long wave transmitter... |

I read the Funfinder comments that the PD circuit is too complicated and should be more simple.
I also read the Vali questions about the UV lamp method. Now I am sure it is time to make updates for the PD circuit. I think this version will really detect the gold... |

Do you believe that with this way we will see the gold signal??? Regards

Hi The PD is not BFO,is the old HEATKIT TR detector with modifications design by Alonso. Why you not enter in RS project to have acess to all schematics ? It will be better for your research about LRL PD. Regards |

According to here:
http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showt...heatkit&page=2 and especially here: http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showp...67&postcount=5 the Heatkit is not TR but Induction Balance! From the early 70s. Do we have the schematic here - didn't found it so far. And because of the IB the adjustment is very critical. The question is, how the IB is used together with the ferrite coil that seems to receive the electrostatic stuff. Good idea, Morgan, I could join the RS project - if I just knew how. |

Hi Funfinder. Ferrite is vertical to the IB coil so it nulls the receiving signal from the oscillator of 348. It is a very sensitive passive receiver
