The U. S. Deptartment of Energy spent over $400,000 testing dowsing equipment. And what did they find?

After finding that the US government spent hundreds of thousands of dollars testing dowsing devices and LRLs, Time magazine looked at their conclusions and summarized it like this:

One thing I have to say that is a refreshing change under Obama, is that he is appointing honest-to-goodness scientists to head up his science & technology positions. We haven't had that in... forever. Instead, we've gotten political cronies who were scientifically illiterate, and the results show. Hopefully, under Steven Chu, DOE will begin to show some competence in science.
