Meters ? Wich metal detector could find a COIN at METERS underground ?
What's size of your coins ? 1meter diameter ?
Fake stuff.

LRL means Long Range Locator, but you mix with depth. This is the main reason you can't discuss here. Prejudices!!!

Ok, I'll assume you're right and object must stay on surface of soil (don't understand what a kind of treasure-locating device could be one that finds e.g. gold items on surface... where even eyes could see, and anyone could take it over, but anyway...)
