Speaking of Fort Knox!
I was wondering if these LRL could detect any of the gold in Fort Knox. I recently say a program on the Vault and according to it it has been more the 10 years since the last complete inventory which means there is tons of gold bars that haven't been distrubed in at least that long. When they say buried does it mean that the gold has to be in contact with earth to form the gold ions? Since the LRL's can detect from very long distances they should be able to detect Fort Knox's gold from the road which travels within about 1/2 mile of the actual vault. Seems like it would be a pretty good test as long as there are no hidden buttons to make the device beep.

When the gold is inside iron container, is almost impossible to detect, because actuates as complete shield. Try to put gold inside an iron box. Wich metal will show your MD? Iron. Think the gold of Fort Knox is inside concrete and iron and more iron...
