And this is my LRL device assembled by the project that gave FrancoItaly.

For this LRL device is completely redesigned PCB in Eagle v.6.4.0 program.
It is now two-sided PCB. Plate size 66 mm x 57 mm - double-sided printing.
Redesign of the images below:

hey Franco,
Your detector is no better than many detectors on the market. I've even build one that detects gold coin at 1 meter depth. There is nothing LRL about what you have.

i have some question ask about franco italy LRL please help me ........

* what is the resonant frequency in this circuit ?
(tune frequency )
* how is tune this circuit ?
*why 8Mhz frequency feed "TR2" transistor
*is the detector work in Sri Lanka ?
THANK YOU

The tune frequency, L1, C10 and base/emitter of TR2, it's in the 150 - 200 Mhz range.

The 8 Mhz signal is the carrier that is modulated indirectly by the "phenomenon", without this carrier I think there would be nothing to be amplified.

I do not know if in your country my LRL works with these values. First of all you must have a field where do the tests with a metal (copper, silver, gold) buried for 2 or 3 months. If the LRL not work changes the value of L1 (one turn or two turns or more) or changing C10. The capacitance of the joint base / emitter of TR2 is about 10pF and my LRL works well without C10 only with the capacitance of the base / emitter of TR2.

Hello, very nice project,
I like to ask you,
how long you think
will be the detection area,
For example,
If we have a single coin what will be the
detection distance?
Also how deep can catch a target?
Thank you.

Thank you dear ionios!
Unfortunately, I still do not know the answer to your question.
This is a question for FrankoItaly.
I hope that he will respond.

Unfortunately until now I have not much experience on the real ground, but only in the test field and for that I await the result of others who have realized my LRL. In real ground I found a cartridge case (I think of brass) 1 meters away and 5 cm deep. In field tests the sensitivity is about 3 m to 5 silver coins 25cm deep. The maximum sensitivity is in the south north direction. In real terrain I had several signals but not confirmed by the metal detector, I suspect because they are too deep. However accurate signals were not due to the compass or sky effect .
