Magnetometer LRL principle
Here some basics and how to built it:

Those who needs a coil in motion (and also field-mills with rotating metal disks) need special accuracy. A moving "magneto-pistol" will measure only the field of a small stripe of the area, depending how fast it is moved from left to right. It will get different results depending how good aligned the coil is to the earth-magnetical field lines (= compass effect). Without opamps the contrast factor output could be too low, and a very large coil could became too heavy after many hours of holding the detector by hand in front of the body. The more different coils which are having their own analyzing circuits the better, this is another important fact. Excluding wrong signals - also important: The detector must not react on very low frequency or static fields or the result will be a totally mixed and messed "signal-line" that only confuses the treasure-hunter and leads to wrong search-results. What is it that gots detected? Thats important: This is no "signal on off detector" but it must recognise changes in the plus and minus range, in other words if the field starts to creates weaker or stronger field-strenghts which indicate distortions made by cavity, water or metal below ground. Therefore the circuit must be able to signalize those changes into both directions, either by a row of LEDs, by sound, by an analog meter display or on a digital screen with different colours. A digital fieldstrenght-tracking-recorder would be very practical too, for checking out if the signal-line is "real" or just a side-effect of some surrounding stronger or weaker becaming "usual field level". btw. the overall big question is: how to built a LRL on this principle which really works reliable Quote:

Differential induction magnetometer. List price I think about $600.
Designed primarily for locating vertical pipe and rebar property markers several feet (on the order of a meter) deep, but used improperly it can locate the local vector of the first order earth field dipole moment the origin of which is about 6,000 km away. They say there's lots of gold there, heavy stuff sinks to the bottom principle. Beneath your feet. You don't need an LRL, you already know where it is. All you need is a better backhoe than Dell has. Lots better, it'll have to go through molten rock most of the way. If only everyone on the planet got a basic high school education, and were able to actually apply it, there would be no LRL fans. What there would be is a lot more stuff that actually works within the limits that Reality imposes. And fantasy would be labeled as such. --Dave J. |

Dave, we know already what you say, this brings us no step further! And this seems to be the fingerprint of this forum, alot smalltalk, posting of nice pictures, opinions bla bla bla but no functioning ANALYZING and PROGRESS bringing development WORK at all! If I'm writing here about the magnetometer principle it should lead to discussion if those mineoro and pdk circuits are based on magnetometer or not as example as it seems because of their compass-effects. If you ask me, Morgan and Geo don't even know by themselves if their "as working announced LRLs" works on geomagnetic distortions or on long wave receiving basis. And thats the problem! Such a fundamental important thing has to be clear from the vey first beginning! But not here, in this completly frustrating, no advance bringing forum! Soon I will write a list what is the potential of the active users in this forum and then we will see if it has any use to waste precious time and work into this forum at all or not. What is needed are technical real interested persons who wanna find out how our "crying LRL-baby" really works, on what root- principles and who have the motivation to improve it to a real useful level. No more cheap excuses like: "Ooops, sorry that it does not work in your country, but in mine it works, and I have no idea why it doesn't work!" btw. it's no wonder those homebrew circuits need extremly critical adjustment and are error-prone, if I look to those tiny coils! They not even will work as a usual pinpointer. So first find out EXCATLY if it works on magnet, longwave or electrostatic, and next built a high-gain and real directional antenna for it !!! As example modern WiFi routers have a circuit where they can automatical swich between vertical to horizontal polarization for best signal-gain and they have each antenna for this task. And what do have our homebrew "all electronic"-LRLs? Nothing! Some cheap amplification circuits that get their input by a mixture of misleading and completly indifferent signals! btw. I have plans now to look for court-expertizers and professional experts to make an end to the selling of not scientifical tested devices like Bionic from OKM and the Mineoro stuff. They will no longer fool and trick people with pseodo-working circuits if the special-field engineers will discover the really used technical methods to achieve those "wannabe" detection results! The multi-thousand euro and dollar rip-off will come to an end! Since many years we have scientific genetic expertize in cases of murder and the time for all those highly criminal LRL-fraudsters also is expiring! Either they offer a provable transparant, real working technology or the experts will convince the judges that their products are just a big bluff to steal thousands of bucks from treasure-hunters who fall for the shiny and wealth promising describtions they are providing on their mendacious and fake videos presenting websites! |
