Gold Ion Test
I just happened to have all the parts within reach so I wondered if there was any stimulation of gold that would produce an electrostatic charge using one of the better known dowsing frequencies. the setup involved using an ion detector I made several years ago from some of the schematics on this forum plus my own mods. The schematic is the based on the servifo Long Range Ion Detector. The stimulator is a piece of ferrite antenna wrapped with a coil and a gold coil taped to the end of the ferrite rod. A US 1 oz Au coin and 1/4 oz Krugerand were the target. A frequency of 5 Khz was used. It seemed that there was a small amount of electrostatic activity; however, the AC was ion and a light breeze was wafting across the lab table. The effect was erratic at best. Maybe one of you could rerun the expt and see if you get anything. My ion detector is sensitive enough to pick up the electron flow in a wire. See pics.

Use Ivconic Ion detector circuit
I think Ivconic's ion detector circuit is likely better to use.
