What is your final conclusion on this? Detection happens through the loops or through the chamber?

Oscillation at the input of the receiver is too high as you have already seen. So it looks like that the signal coming from chamber is negligible and probably doesn't contribute as much as i was thinking!! I was ready to connect a switch so to separate the two circuits, but then i saw that you have already done it! (as always!!!)

ps. Does anyone know the exact length and diameter of the brass tip at the chamber circuit?
