My new FrancoItaly LRL
Dear friends!
The New year has started and I finished my new LRL. It is LRL whose author is a member of our FrancoItaly. The project that your device FrankoItali LRL is set in this forum: http://www.longrangelocators.com/for...&postcount=213 I'm the LRL his project in my version named as "The Phantom". It is this LRL of FrancoItaly: http://www.dodaj.rs/f/1X/nA/1rCngsq5/untitled-1.jpg http://www.dodaj.rs/f/3S/P4/1vVVNOeH/untitled-2.jpg http://www.dodaj.rs/f/3g/1B/2uYKNTkI/untitled-3.jpg |

And this is my LRL device assembled by the project that gave FrancoItaly.
I gave him the name "Phantom": http://www.dodaj.rs/f/3m/3J/2hFOsEu/01.jpg http://www.dodaj.rs/f/2U/oh/2m39DZHo/04.jpg http://www.dodaj.rs/f/B/Zv/11n1UTgX/06.jpg http://www.dodaj.rs/f/2M/KT/8nbdGWh/07.jpg |
For this LRL device is completely redesigned PCB in Eagle v.6.4.0 program.
It is now two-sided PCB. Plate size 66 mm x 57 mm - double-sided printing. Dear friends!
- Do "Fantom" work? - Yes, this device works! - Is it possible to locate the "colored" metals buried in the ground? - I do not know! I still have not done the test polygon. It is now in Serbia winter and snow. In the spring I will make a test polygon so that I will bury "colored" metals in the ground and wait several months to form a "Phenomenon". Then I find out if this device can locate buried "colored" metals. Report will, of course, publish it on this forum. Until then ... Regards! Sneshko |
Dear friends!
The entire RAR project, "Phantom" in Eagle v.6.4.0 you can download for free by clicking on the link below: http://www.4shared.com/rar/RWY6ediIba/PHANTOM.html Note! Registration required! Regards! Sneshko |
Hi Sneshko,
Very very good work, I hope that on the field it's the same thing. Best regards |
Dear FrancoItaly! :)
Thank you very much! All the best!:) Sneshko |
Very nice design Sneshko - especially in post #8. Congratulations.
Wish you exaggerated findings - especially on terrains as in post #8. |
Looks very good. Just curious what this is supposed to do. Does it null when you point at the target?

Thank you! So ... we'll see in a few months when he's ready test polygon. Regards! Sneshko |
Thank you walkman!
For 3-4 months I will know the results and publish them on the forum. Regards! Sneshko |
Dear friends!
In the midst of winter weekend in Serbia was spring time. Today, Sunday 11 January 2014 in Serbia was about 15 C. It's spring time I used to do a small Test polygon. In the muddy ground dug a hole deep 50 cm. In the hole I put the double folded sheet copper in 20 x 23 cm. size. Pictures below: http://www.dodaj.rs/f/R/vS/1KOaRfIs/1.jpg http://www.dodaj.rs/f/1s/oc/3z22iGNS/2.jpg http://www.dodaj.rs/f/10/uJ/344j2VoH/3.jpg Now we need to wait a few months to form a "Phenomenon". Today, "Phantom" is not registered anything in this place where I buried the double folded sheet copper. We'll see if the 3-4 month "Phantom" to register the Phenomenon of non-ferrous metals such as the copper. Regards! Sneshko |
can detect magnet ?

i have some question ask about franco italy LRL please help me ........
* what is the resonant frequency in this circuit ? (tune frequency ) * how is tune this circuit ? *why 8Mhz frequency feed "TR2" transistor *is the detector work in Sri Lanka ? THANK YOU |
The tune frequency, L1, C10 and base/emitter of TR2, it's in the 150 - 200 Mhz range.
The 8 Mhz signal is the carrier that is modulated indirectly by the "phenomenon", without this carrier I think there would be nothing to be amplified. I do not know if in your country my LRL works with these values. First of all you must have a field where do the tests with a metal (copper, silver, gold) buried for 2 or 3 months. If the LRL not work changes the value of L1 (one turn or two turns or more) or changing C10. The capacitance of the joint base / emitter of TR2 is about 10pF and my LRL works well without C10 only with the capacitance of the base / emitter of TR2. |
Hello, very nice project,
I like to ask you, how long you think will be the detection area, For example, If we have a single coin what will be the detection distance? Also how deep can catch a target? Thank you. |

Unfortunately, I still do not know the answer to your question. This is a question for FrankoItaly. I hope that he will respond. Regards! Sneshko |
Unfortunately until now I have not much experience on the real ground, but only in the test field and for that I await the result of others who have realized my LRL. In real ground I found a cartridge case (I think of brass) 1 meters away and 5 cm deep. In field tests the sensitivity is about 3 m to 5 silver coins 25cm deep. The maximum sensitivity is in the south north direction. In real terrain I had several signals but not confirmed by the metal detector, I suspect because they are too deep. However accurate signals were not due to the compass or sky effect .

Hi Sneshko what about the test field? now you have 3 months
since 11-01-2015 11-02-2015 11-03-2015 11-04-2015 or we wait again the four month :) 11-05-2015 Please let ze know what he news thanks friend |
HI Mr NICOLAS , IM HAKIM I BUILT PHANTOM LRL AND I'LL TRY IT NEXT WEEK, HAVE YOU A NEW PROJECT FOR US ?

Hello Sneshko
What about your phantom test field? Here you find the test field for LRL FrancoItaly last version after 14 days by Dojranski https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yR3tzT2Jd-g |
40 cm depth ..2 gold rings 4 grams of 18k gold ..40 days buried.. NOT 14 daus Nicolas

NICOLAS YOUR detector detects a lot of good.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65iNXc141gI It's gold is detected..beautiful.. |
So, does it find buried metals?
|
Hello, Sneshko, have you tested the lrl, is it working?

i don't see pictures thank you |
Hi Pigeon, the pictures are in a .rar file on the first page, the more important question is does it work?
|
hey Franco,
Your detector is no better than many detectors on the market. I've even build one that detects gold coin at 1 meter depth. There is nothing LRL about what you have. Goldfinder |

Hi Goldfinder,
you can share with us some details? The depth to which comes a LRL depends a lot on how long the gold is buried. I think it is more important to the distance at which there comes a LRL rather than depth. Best regards |
