It promishes very good details.
This week i will finish it and if weather will be good then will go out for tests.

Nothing special.
No stimulator only one RFsnifer with 55 DB gain and one magnetis detector with 80db gain. Every detector has its own antenna. It needs null between antennas but not so big problem as at Alonso's PD.

The new lrl stayed to the promises :lol:.
For unknown reasons the two ics of the magnetic detector burned :angry::angry:
Now i must looking for buying new from ebay since they are very old ic's....

Magnetic receiver must have 85db gain but this has only 20db:(, so today i ordered 2 new ICs from ebay and believe i will receipt them after 10 ... 15 days.

Hi Geo.

Why your magnetic detector must have almost 18000 times amplification ? Why not 100dB - 100 000 times? Maybe it is upper threshold for stabile work ?

Thera are many new very high band OP amps with open loop unity gain beyond GHz. Why don't use some of them as input frontend?

It is very simple!!!! because i had the pcb with the 2 ICs with total gain 85db at 100+ Mhz.
The problem is that i can't give full gain because it beeps :angry:

with a preamp it receives VLF and LF stations and even LW
without preamp it detects all that is electric or magnetic or spark at great distance

For real field Test , You will need good weather condution without high hummidity or Summer time.

This winter i will not construct any new lrl, my collection is full:lol:
So.. will spent my time by making mods at four older lrls.

1. At lrl of this thread will insert an IR module. All other works OK.
2. Iga-1 needs an external magnetic field generator...
3. My modified GoldGun sometimes has selfoscilations, maybe it needs lower gain. It needs a full check....
And 4. The old Alonso's PD. Maybe it is the only Alonso's PD that works except the original PD that Morgan own. It works very good but it is unstable. It is very good for pinpoint etc...

Almost ready Geo, different facts did not allow me to complete it. I will make it with a plastic tube 60 cm deep in the soil, and with a cylindrical plastic box of pills to place the coin or the ring, and with a measuring tape stuck in it and to measure the depth at the same time. In PI metal detectors we will be able to put high and low conductivity metals for testing simply by having them in our pocket.
