I don't understand what it is.
But i am sure that can't do nothing at T.H.
With 2 bulbs, one potentiometer and one voltmeter you can't find gold..
Don't wast your time:nono:

A bunch of resistors and a couple of who-knows-what's and a coil of wire. No way of knowing what is there. Need to ask the owner. In the end you can just use the coil with a variable resistor and battery. Put your sample on top of the coil and circle with your L-rods. Learn some form of meditation first or take fifteen to twenty-five years and learn it as you go.

I've used a coil/resistor/battery and sample with L-rod. It works but it picks up small stuff like crazy. You need a coil with lots of fine wire. The resistor is supposed to help eliminate the small stuff. Can't remember but I think my coil had 275 ohms.

I meant variable resistor. I tried a 1m and it was too much. 100k is about max.

P.S. I could not view your photos. Maybe too big.

this is TFR-4 varillas? some users think it is very good. The video show for primera time in my opinion, a true honest detection. The varilla first detect silver and metal detector make confirm.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvxpF4kDYXk

I have always said L-rods work but you need to learn some form of meditation. So if rods work, then what is it that makes this one more special than the others? Or for that matter, a bent piece of welding rod and a $30 frequency generator? Or bent welding rod, a coil and battery? Or even a magnet and sample?

I can give you reasons why it's not as good. For starters you want a transmitter that is stationary because it takes a while for the signal line to develop. The signal line IS the discrimination and the human body walking through it is called "body response".

There's some good stuff on the Konstantin Meyl website about the longitudinal waves. I bought a set of his flat coils. I can light the LED from a hundred feet away with just one ground wire and a cheap frequency generator. This is the same process that frequency locators use. Only no ground wire, just the ground itself. BTW, something I found out, conductive ground is not good for locating. Salt water is the worst because it absorbs the signal.

And the idea that sensitive bearing is supposed to be better is not quite true especially in any wind. I don't know if you remember the rod I built with sensitive bearings called The Revelation. I hung it over the edge of a table and gave it a swing. iT WAS STILL MOVING ALMOST FIVE MINUTES LATER. Some people say a solid handle rod works better and you can feel it better. Not claiming there are less false hits, but probably so. And while i am not a big fan of two L-rods, they do give a more pronounced response--two rods means more attraction between them.

It's been a few years since I last worked with the coil locator but I recall I held a compass near the coil and adjusted the power until the compass needle moved just several degrees like maybe 20 degrees. i really don't know all the answers here. I've used giant magnets like 300 pound pull. Didn't work any better and seems like the area got magnetized and it wouldn't work any more after that. But i've found stuff with the coil and with magnets and sample. Also found bunch of nothing.

You can learn about magnets and locating in the "Supersensonics" book by Christopher Hills. Louis Turenne used magnets on his rods and pendulums. originally he used a coil of wire connected to both hands so current would flow through the coil from body electricity but later went to the magnets. Never found out the reason but it seems that the human body is going to charge and discharge for various reasons and it's not very controllable.

Good day! As far as I understand it is one of the earlier versions. WHAT is the semblance of a generator. How it works is not clear. The coil is wound around the chamber, a metal sample is put in there that they are going to search. The output from this device is connected to the rotary frame on the handle on the frame diagram is not. Frame two. One way out implies discrimination, but maybe I'm wrong.

Good afternoon to the entire community of LRL builders !!! Maybe someone has information on how the rotary knob is arranged in devices such as TFR-2 and the like. There is a plug in the handle box, so there must be a coil there. I'm interested in the design. Any information will be useful!

Must be a language issue here. I told you the guy has a webpage and a facebook page. Supposedly the schematic is on facebook. I did a search for darke machina machine shop. He;s the guy to talk to, he modified the Bill Jensen plans. BTW, the schematic is different than what you posted. In the end you are getting a swivel handle device that takes a very long time to learn. Don't believe all the hype.

I thank you for the tips, unfortunately Facebook does not work in my country. even through the link I will not get to the facebook page. I found the site for the manufacture that you recommended to find, wrote to the mail, but without a response. Maybe they didn't check their mail. I'm only interested in the turning frame device. I want to understand what is the meaning of such a design with a reel in the handle. How does the coil in the turning frame work.
