Hi to all
Does anyone have a schematic of the gold gun AL 718 transmitter? This receiver works well but i don't have the original transmitter and my transmitter does not match well with Receiver.
please help me.

Hi Ishtar, how do you expect that original transmitter will work better than yours?

If transmitter is tuned at the same frequency than receiver, then all is ok.

But probably you transmitter emit too much power, or you put it to close to receiver and so transmitter signal suppress all other useful signal. Al718 works on very long wave and need distance to proper wave polarization. You need very weak transmitter and antenna that can be oriented in all directions to get proper wave polarization. Even so transmitter should not be to close to receiver. Play with this, rather than asking for original transmitter which will not solve your problem.

Hi wm6 thank's so much .i attach my home made lrl picture and Operating frequency. this lrl work very good .i can find void and i dig so find void but in 5 khz for gold(I had adjust for Gold) in my Country(iran) this frequency detect iron . when i detect so dig i find iron so i change to 118 khz for gold and this problem was solved . voltage for gold is 6 volt on 118 khz -this detector can operate for gold 118 khz -silver 6khz-bronze 7 khz - void- diamond 90 khz. main voltage is 12 volt and all Output frequencies are stable and does not change during the search . I've used a bunch of aluminum with Bearings to connect antenna.(Sorry Tim Williams for the use of their logo).

In my chart of the elements where I derived the frequency the frequency of 5 khz for gold is very close to the frequency of one of the oxides of iron as both have close to the same atomic weight. Frequency is directly correlated with weight. The 118 khz is an upper harmonic if gold and far enough away from the upper harmonics of iron oxide that you can use it.

I am interesting for the original schematic or block diagram.
For example... a friend told me that the transmitter has at the out a transformer and the one end of transformer is going to the earth and the other is not connected
Is it true????

hi geo
yes .This method may be applicable.but The most convenient method is the use of electromagnetic waves.Reflected waves at the metal. You can get these waves with the receiver ferrite

Even smaller.

No problem to find such a small thing by LRL-ing, if you finally do "pinpoint" by metal detector.

But, wait, why would we even use the material creations as LRL's?

Why do we not detect treasure directly by our inner "soul powered LRL"?

Have you ever heard of out of body experience and out of body vision? Google a little for this term.

This way, you cannot to see treasure in soil only, but you can see back in time how this treasure was buried and by whom.

I expected mr. hung to be master of long range out of body vision, and not to bother with material mineoro and alike LRL crap.

Hi Taxma if you make a transmitter is so better to test your Gold Gun

this transmitter is between 0- 100kHz and you can go to 300 Khz it simple to build it

only need make good calcul for value of C and R

F= 1 [1.4xRxC ]

separately transmitter or on the Gold Gan;

Certainly separately and make tracer by gold gun since fews meter ten or twenty to tune it

you can build with three capacitors 1nF for 100Khz other 10nf for 10khz other 100nF for 1 khz

like the fisher 82 khz and 8.2khz and 820 Hz

Yes ok I understand that but if not have transmitter in your region you can make that. but I speak about resonance to catch Gold or metal by this frequency
if your gold gun work with this frequency mean receive only the frequency send by transmitter not by metal and that is wrong dear and not find Gold we need the resonance not need frequency of transmitter. here is many VlF transmitter in world

Hi to all
Does anyone have a schematic of the gold gun AL 718 transmitter? This receiver works well but i don't have the original transmitter and my transmitter does not match well with Receiver.
please help me.

I believe I may have gotten the Gold Gun al707 to work--but, I got too close to some power lines...now it has lost most of it's sensitivity. It now needs to be checked out by someone who can replace capacitors etc.

I need Carl to sell me his Gold Gun! :)

I have reason to believe that the Gold Gun is an excellent--and, a workable Receiver, if one can simply get the proper transmitter interfaced with it. As a Stand-Alone, it is of little if any use at all. Before I burned something on the circuit board, I got a reading of 850 mVolts, at just under one mile distance (0.82). It's a known gold mine, owned by a friend, in NE Washington State. It's a complex ore type lode. I got another good reading with my now defunct Gold Gun Al 707--that I have yet to check out, with with my White's Sierra Madre--with 25' or 15' Karbowski coil. I really love that setup. Also have the White's Pulse Scan TDI, with 16' Nugget Finder coil.

While I've had great success with a swivel rod and my transmitters--I have not been content to leave "well enough alone". With my Architraun System, I have been able to get very consistent audible / metered signals, on targets the size of a jewelry box, at three hundred feet. It is all well in the realm of known and established physics. More than that, I do not care to say. If it were broadly known--it would totally revolutionize metal detection systems, forever! It's a cat that could never be put back into the proverbial bag.

I've also learned how to take frequency readings from Google Earth Images. I have named that the Eagletraun System. This too, has proven to be quit successful for me. I actually pinpointed six dore' bars, in Texas, while I was in Central Washington. And, there is much more to that story, that will have to be put on hold, until I can work out an agreement, with the land owner, with respect to the main deposit--which I also pinpointed, with the Eagletraun, from a distance of aprox 2k miles.

A friend gave me his al-707. Both ferrite rods were broken, as a result of careless handling. It is now pretty much junk. If I could find another one cheap, I would see what I could do with it.

Seems easy enough to replace and rewind the ferrite rods. Pretty sure somewhere there is a schematic that shows what it needed. I haven't worked with one but I know the rods have a spacing between the ends and this might need to be tuned.
