View Full Version : Why?
Hi admin.
Why thread "Who needs a LRL all you need is a Gold Filter & Cell Phone!!!" need to be deleted (almost one and half year after first post)?
Do we fear from explanation about GPX4500 and other China fraud (copy)? Why?
Probably it is better to left buyers uninformed?

Yeah, I was puzzled about that too. Seems to me that if the moderator perceived a problem, all that was necessary was to delete the spammer's post (deleting spam is a routine part of a moderator's job), and also to delete my reply to that post since without that post my reply would have no context.
Since what actually happened is puzzling, I'll do a little speculating..... I just betcha that link contained a sidebar that linked to counterfeit LRL's as well.

The post I removed was obvious spam linking to a website selling cheap illegal copies of metal detectors. I also deleted the posts that were made in reply to the spammer's post, because (as DJ stated) they would have been out of context. The spammer's account was banned, as was the IP address.
In future, please do not reply to posts made by spammers, but click on the Report Post icon instead.
