View Full Version : In Memoriam
Celi Moura, great friend, notable treasure hunter and PDC210 hero, died of cancer.
He was the most skilled expert in Mineoro detector use to date.
I've been with him in some expeditions and they were all an unforgettable experience.
Celi made many findings along his treasure hunter period. Many are not even featured in Mineoro's site.

He taught me a lot of techiniques that were extremely valuable.
In 2006, during an expedition, he had to lay in bed on whole morning due to stomach aches caused by excessive acidity.
I believe this got worse along the time. He neve cared much about medical exams... That was his biggest mistake.
His life in the field was so intense, that I'm sure he had one hell of a good time along these years.
He will be solely missed by Mineoro, his family and friends.
First Damasio, now Celi. It's been a hard year for me.
Goodbye my friend.
Death as a business opportunity for advertising worthless mineoro boxes.
Again ...

Hung, peace for your friend.
Thanks for your kind words Esteban.
Those kind of losses we have to face in our lives are the ones that hurt most.
You can ask Alonso about Celi. He knew him.
With only 4 of the Don Pedro era gold coins in the picture, he opened a restaurant.
As I told, Celi was a talented detectorist full of techniques and resources. He owned a very uncommon pendulum to pinpoint targets and he was a master on it.
Once he and Damasio made a bet of who could pinpoint closer a small buried target after detecting it from a distance. Celi had his pendulum and Damasio used one of his ionic rods. While Damasio got a little less than a foot from the object, Celi got exactly over it. When he got down and dug it, there it was. Don't remember now if it was a gold ring or an earring.
I'm sure both are in the 'greatest gig in the sky' now...

Which diminute? Yours?
Requiem to friends in which your friend's name is mentioned twice (2x) the name of scandalous company Mineoro but three times (3x) in promotional manner.
To whom then sing the glory?

I always get a chuckle out of the mention of Ignore Lists. :D :D :D :D
I mean, stop and think about what you're suggesting... If the retorts and comments to the postings here are more than you can handle; shouldn't you just consider PMs or better yet emails between those few that are not on your Iiggy List??

Hello Hung,
Sorry to hear your friend passed away. I didn't know of him but if he was into locating, he's up there with the angels I'm sure. I do a lot of praying to help me get through rough times. It takes my mind off what's bothering me.
Also I want to thank you what you showed me on the Examiner.
