I read some of the posts here and was wondering if maybe somehow, one could use old Radiation Geiger counter (That has Ion Chamber within itself) and turn it into an LRL?

Note:

It is a standard ABHO army type, which was carried by army personel trained in chemical, biological and radiation hazards.

PICS WILL COME!!!

Best Regards!

If I coul somehow change or enlarge the receiving part -chamber...maybe I could detect radiation from rocks...http://www.geotech1.com/forums/%5BURL=http://img18.imageshack.us/my.php?image=27022009001t.jpg%5D%5BIMG%5Dhttp://img18.imageshack.us/img18/3532/27022009001t.th.jpg%5B/IMG%5D%5B/URL%5D

Have another idea...

Buy that:

I just love my Geiger...got it on flea market....very very cheap...1e :razz::razz::D:D
And the thing works...even has a small lamp tube for use in dark.
BTW I found lots of stuff there...from medical devices (laser stuff, ultrasound=broken...). Heh, I'd bet I could find a nuke there!!! *cheap one of course*
